E36 Cooling System Conversion Kit

Protype Shown Above Installed on an E36 with an M52B28, In-House Turbo Build.

The E36 owners have long suffered with the pains of bleeding the stock cooling system. As if that wasn't enough, they have to deal with exploding plastic Expansion Tanks, and in a Top Mount Turbo application the expansion tank has to get relocated anyways.

This is an idea I've had for a very long time, and finally decided to bring it to reality!
We are deleting the factory Expansion Tank and converting from an Expansion Style System to an Overflow Style System.

Our Conversion Kit is ABSOLUTE OVERKILL, and absolutely the last cooling system upgrade you'll make to your E36.

Our kit includes an aluminum thermostat housing, modified with an In-Line Swirl Pot.      The Swirl Pot has a High Quality Upgraded Radiator Cap, with a new highest fill point, directly into the radiator and engine. We also give the option to add 2x 6AN Bungs to the thermostat housing for the most optimal turbo coolant feed and return location available.

The heater hose in the back gets routed to the swirl pot either out of the heater core, or out of the back of the head if heater is deleted. This hose gets converted to 10AN for long lasting durability and performance. This allows us to keep full coolant flow out of the back of the head, as well as eliminating any possible air-locks by bringing it to our new high fill point.

The coolant pipe under the intake manifold gets deleted. We are working on a good high quality block-off for our market version of this kit.

This kit is currently in its Testing Stage, and is expected to be released to the public in May of 2026.
